Note: Some time ago, Apple stopped supporting the integrated PPTP VPN client on Mac (macOS Sierra 10.12.). This article only applies from macOS Sierra 10.12 and below.

Step 1: Add new VPN configuration

Go to System Preferences -> Network. Click the plus sign in the bottom corner of the window to add a new VPN configuration.

Then select Interface as VPN. VPN Type is PPTP and named for this connection.

Step 2: Configure the VPN connection

After completing step 1, you should see the newly created connection.
Click on new connection and fill in the following information:

Server Address: The IP address we send to you via email after you register for the service.
Account Name: Username information that we send to you via email after you register for the service.
After filling these 2 boxes, click Authentication Settings to enter Password. We will also send this information to you via email after signing up for the service.

After filling in the information, configure a few more things as needed.
  1. Click on Advanced.
  2. Tick Send all traffic over VPN connection and click OK.
  3. Finally click Apply to save the VPN configuration.

Step 4: Connect to the VPN

  1. Leave the Show VPN status in menu bar box ticked and press Connect.
  2. You should be able to Connect/Disconnect to the server from the menu bar.
